Abandonded Theme Park

The theme park that I would really like to go is Spreepark, Berlin, Germany. The reason I would really like to go to this park is because it looks really interesting even though it is really old. The one thing I like the most is the Ferris Wheel because it is big and old but still looks really pretty. And also the lake looks beautiful in between the things in the park.


There are a lot of places that could be really interesting to go to like there are a lot of walls and old buildings in the country of Chile, also in the country of El Salvador there are a lot of ruins that could look amazing from different angles in photography. Also in Austin TX places that could be amazing to take pictures of are the views of Lake Austin, Down Town, and also one of my favorites are 360 Bridge and Lakeway Resorts.

Gesa Mayr Posted the story behind this park. She is no Photographer she just wrote the information and the situation of the park.

I believe that it would be fun to take pictures of this park because it has a lot of very interesting and funny figures. For example there is a lion when people go on the train and that could be fun. The types of pictures that we could take there can also include a lot of the rules of photography that we have learn in class. Also the place the park is set at is a lake so it could be really interesting taking pictures of things that are half in the water and half outside of the water.

The main thing that I need to take to that place is a camera with good lenses. One and the only way to get to the park is to travel in a plain. I would need around 3,000 dollars to make a satisfying trip because the tickets are from 800 dollars to 2,000 dollars so most of the money would go to the tickets and some to be comfortable at the place where I would be going. Some of the rules that I have to have in mind are that I might not have permission to take pictures in some places but I can ask for permission to the police or guardians of the place if it has any.

Africa

I really liked the pictures taken by Nick Brandt because it inspire m to care more about the nature and wild life. The pictures of the lions made me thought of how animals suffer sometimes without food or water of because of the weather. Some of the animals he took picture of look really normal and ok in the environment that they are living in.


This is not exactly one of my favorite pictures because one of the elephants is suffering but that's exactly why I have chosen this picture because animals are suffering or sometimes killed by humans and little by little they are disappearing from our world.

The rule that this picture is fallowing is the rule of simplicity because pretty much everything behind the elephants is cloudy so you can only see the elephants.

The type of camera lens that he used was Pentax 6511 with only two fixed lenses.  This is important because it makes the pictures look more dramatic.

When he was directing a music video called "Earth Song" for Jackson in Tanzania he fell in love with the animals and land of east Africa.

The reason Brandt wants to take pictures of these landscapes and animals is because he wants to capture every moment in the wildlife he can before the land is destroyed by man.



You were previously a director of music videos (including for Michael Jackson; Earth Song was what brought you to Africa in the first place). How much crossover of skills and creative vision is there between stills and video? Was it easy to make the jump?
It was easy to make the jump practically and financially, as I was fortunately cushioned by continuing to direct commercials for 2-3 years (although I was very disdainful of them). Creatively, it must have helped, yes, as I had spent my adult life working with film and image. It was also easy to make the jump because as a photographer, I felt so liberated not being answerable to anyone, being able to photograph what I wanted, when I wanted, how I wanted. Filmmaking is fraught with endless frustration and compromise in a way that photography is not. Or at least, with the exception of the bad printing of the first two books, that is what I have been lucky to experience.

What made me choose the pictures of this photographer was the beautiful landscapes that he has taken. There is not much in particular that made me choose the pictures but I love the photographers work. When I see at this particular picture makes me feel free. When I look at it I can almost feel the fresh and cold air that is touching the mountains. The sound of the air blowing and the smell of nature outside come to mind looking at this picture.





This is another picture taken by Ansel Adams. When I see this picture makes me feel fresh and reminds me of the beautiful nature around the world that we still have. The trees, the water, and the humid air makes me feel relax. I can hear the water falling down hitting against the rocks. I can smell the humid rocks and plants. I can taste the cold water that's in the air.

Funny Captions

Seren is talking about how kids are complaining because they dont have enough this days and his wife Felicia agrees with him.

Back in the days Felicia and Seren did not have much bt they where okay with what they had because it was enough to stay alive.

 

 

John, Sasha, and Marvin are really good friends they live in San Francisco and go out every Saturday to get fresh air.

They all stopped at a store to have some icecream and talk for a while. They all have been friends for a very long time now and love to talk about the past from when they were young.

The grandmother's name is Ryanna and even though she is pretty old already she is still having fun and going Down Town.

Most of the things in the background were made about 65 years ago. When Ryanna was about 16 years old. The town was pretty back then but with time it became old.
